Fallmore is located in the very south of the Mullet Peninsula. In this rural area there are many antiquities associated with the Holy Deirbhile. For example, Deirbhile’s Church (a 12th century church), Deirbhile’s Bed (the saints’ final resting place) or Deirbhile’s Well (a holy well). In her honour, the stone circle Deirbhile’s Twist was built in modern times, more precisely in 1993.
