At the western tip of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula, the actual Sheep’s Head (also called Muntervary) a small lighthouse is nestled in breathtaking location amidst steep cliffs. The 1.5 km long path from the visitors’ car park with a small café leads over rocky terrain through a peaceful landscape.

Sheep‘s Head Location
Sheep‘s Head is located on the Sheep’s Head Peninsula, about 27 km west of Durrus. From Sheep’s Head car park you can continue walking to the western tip of the peninsula with the lighthouse.
