Beginning the trip along the Wild Atlantic Way from Londonderry (or “Derry”, as it is called in the Republic of Ireland) the first part of the journey brings us to Lough Foyle. Its bay is situated between the Inishowen Peninsula and the County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Along the way are the towns of Moville and a bit further north Greencastle. There is a ferry departing from Greencastle to Magilligan Point.
