Bray Head – located on Valentia Island, can be reached in a 25-minute walk from the car park at Foilhommerum Bay. At the top are the remains of an observation tower built in 1815. Instead of returning the same way, it is recommended to follow the “Bray Head Loop”. This path leads along meadows back over the ridge to the parking area and offers a wonderful panoramic view of Bray Head, Dingle Bay, Valentia Island and the Portmagee Channel.
