The Cliffs of Moher is the most famous tourist attraction on the west coast of Ireland. The cliffs rise up to 214 metres out of the Atlantic. After passing the visitor centre, the path leads up to O’Brien’s Tower, a former watchtower. Those who want to experience the cliffs from their natural and unspoilt side should hike along the cliff edge on the “Cliff Walk”. This trail leads from Doolin to Hag’s Head and on to Liscannor.
