On the way to the Doolin Pier (starting point for trips to the Aran Islands) you pass the quaint village of Doolin, which magically attracts tourists with its charm, nice cafés, pubs and traditional music. Especially in the summer months Doolin is very busy. The area is also very scenic. In some places the limestone slabs of the Burren reach the sea and in southern direction the Cliffs of Moher tower up.
