The stone row of Eightercua, located south of Waterville, dates back to 1200 BC and apparently marked the boundary of a larger complex. This hypothesis is also confirmed by a legend that Eightercua is the tomb of Scéine, who was married to the leader of the Milesian invaders. The Milesians invaded Ireland milleniums ago and are believed to be the tribal fathers of present-day Ireland. Legend has it, that they chased the former kings out of Ireland into Other World and kept their power ever since in the visible world.
