Inisheer (Inis Oírr) is the most easterly and smallest of the three Aran Islands. A majestic fortress on a slope, a shipwreck and lighthouse are popular destinations with visitors. Especially worth seeing is also the patchwork on many small pastures and fields, which are surrounded by man-high dry-stone walls. In the southeast of the island you have an incomparable view of the Cliffs of Moher, only 11 km away, which can be completely overlooked from here.

Inisheer Location
Inisheer is located off the west coast of Ireland. There are ferry services from Doolin in County Clare and Rossaveal in Connemara. Another option is to fly there with Aer Arann Islands from Connemara Airport.
