The early Christian monastery site of Reask is especially known for its “Cross Slabs”. These are stone columns engraved into the crosses. It is also noteworthy that no records of the enclosure exist in church documents.

Reask Monastic Site Location

Reask Monastic Site is located on the Dingle Peninsula, about 6 km south of Ballydavid. An old sign reading “Mainistir Riaisc” points the direction.
